Where Did the Week Go?!

Well, so much for my “blogolution” to not have long lapses between posts…

I know the throng of avid readers, if not the entire real estate blogiverse, is in a tizzy since there’s been no post here for a week. (that’s sarcasm if you’re new around here…)

I did get a couple of emails asking me if everything was OK around here. All is fine, and I appreciate the concern.

I also got one email that asked if I was “on vacation“. I linked to “vacation” so I could remind myself what one was….

So at least three people noticed I’ve been MIA for a week.

Why haven’t I posted anything in a week? Is it a Sellsius-ish spoon thing? Nah, I’m not as clever as those guys.

It’s actually quite simple…. I’ve been busy! Our real estate world has been going bonkers lately. And in the last 3 weeks I’ve launched a little second revenue stream idea called Realty Tech Help. My initial thoughts on spooling up this business adventure was twofold: 1) I really enjoy helping people with their web sites; and 2) my incredibly wise Grandfather used to tell me, “Diversify boy. You can’t have too many irons in the fire. Every successful businessman has multiple income producing streams”. So I figured why not give it a whirl and see if I could combine my love for helping people and working on websites with Grandad’s sage advice. I expected I might find a couple of interested people…

I miscalculated the interest level.

I’ve been buried! But that’s a good thing, and I am NOT complaining.
I shall return, and next time with a more substantive post than one explaining why I haven’t posted in a while…

In the mean time, check out the new plugin – the little “Sphere It” link at the bottom of all my posts. I *just* put it in, need to play with it some. Let me know what you think.

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

I noticed, too. But, I forgive you. Just don't let it happen again!

So funny. Jay, if you left the blogiverse it would leave some big Black Hole. You are indeed The Phoenix Real Estate Guy. We love ya!

Good to see you posting again. I actually haven't posted in a few days either - work seems to get in the way occasionally!

Glad to hear that your other venture is off to a good start. I have thought about doing something like that myself for a while now.
