Whispering Ranch is really a good place to live… At the other angle, it can also be a good place to develop.. there are lots of choices you can do to this place…

I live in Whispering Ranch and it is natually beautiful here. The day when some asshole developer starts putting track homes in will be a sad day.

I’d really like to see this place as a new start of Green technologies, solar, Earthships, etc. The APS power lines coming in to the south have already started the “Ugies” Fortunately I live deep enough into the land to be left alone for a while. I use solar energy and it works great. Why man has to pollute the air is beyond me. All the energy we could ever need can be harvested from the sun.

I can’t even begin to discribe the feeling of being independent from utility companies other than to say it is empowering.

I heard your voice loud and clear…this is land that is open and free. Although they say progress must occur, it sometimes is hard to swallow. There are areas around the Sacramento area that are wide open and undeveloped and I feel the same way. Like you said, “it’s a matter of time.”
