In a nutshell, there are *always* &quot;entry level homes&quot;. Maybe not exactly where someone wants to be or with every feature, but they are out there. El Mirage and Apache Junction come immediately to mind for &quot;affordable&quot; entry level housing. Both suffer somewhat from a bad rep, but a lot of that is unfounded. 
 
I do however, wonder how/if my kids will be able to afford a home. Probably have to get a 75 year mortgage (which don&#039;t exist, yet).
